Fire Warden/Marshall Train the Trainer Course

The fire warden key trainer course from the Fire Risk Group is held on your site to minimise disruption and down time for you. This will enable you to comply with the Fire Safety order 2005. This thorough course is aimed primarily for you to have a better understanding of the role of the fire warden and equip you with the tools such as the PowerPoint presentation, to enable you to train your own staff.

Our consultant will talk in detail about the premises with the trainees while conducting a walk around the building identifying risks and hazards, escape routes, fire alarm systems and the fire fighting equipment.

Upon successful completion your staff will be qualified to train members of their team in the following subjects:

  • Causes of workplace fires
  • The fire triangle
  • Action in the event of fire
  • First aid to fire fighting
  • Fire extinguishers
  • Practical use with fire extinguishers
  • Means of escape
  • Effective fire drills
  • The fire action plan
  • The role and duties of the fire warden
  • Review the effectiveness of the fire risk assessment on your site
  • A summary of your fire fighting and detecting equipment

As mentioned our consultant will supply you with the PowerPoint used throughout the course. On completing the course, all successful delegates will receive a certificate of attendance.
